2. Personal data we may collect

  • Due diligence and risk information, including source of funds, source of wealth, tax residence, expected activity, countries of operation, sanctions and politically exposed person screening results, adverse-media results and information needed to assess legal or regulatory risk.

  • From a company, adviser, agent, beneficial owner, director, employee or other person connected with an enquiry or engagement.
  • From public sources such as Companies House, professional registers, court or insolvency records, official sanctions lists and publicly available websites.
  • From identity-verification, fraud-prevention, compliance, banking, payment and marketplace providers.
  • Automatically through website cookies, server logs and security tools, subject to your cookie choices.

6. Sharing personal data

We do not sell personal data. We may share it, where necessary and proportionate, with:

  • appointed or prospective directors, nominees, company secretaries and authorised personnel;
  • Companies House, HMRC, courts, law-enforcement bodies, regulators and other competent authorities;
  • banks, electronic money institutions, payment providers, card or merchant providers and marketplace platforms when requested as part of a Service;

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please do not send identity documents or sensitive records through an insecure channel when a secure upload method is available.

9. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including legal, anti-money-laundering, tax, accounting, insurance and dispute-resolution requirements. KYC and transaction records may generally be retained for five years after a business relationship ends where anti-money-laundering law applies, and contractual or accounting records may generally be retained for six years or longer where legally required.
